Natalie's Story

Natalie talks about her trip to Amsterdam, visiting a friend of hers studying abroad. Despite being nervous and always in her comfort zone, her mom encouraged her to take the trip, navigating flights, the airport, and bus rides all by herself. Even with such unfamiliarity, she had a great time on her trip. Even though she traveled solo and there were times where things were uncertain to her, it gave her a good sense of independence, confidence, and the ability to be able to push herself out of her comfort zone.
